Toronto City Planning and Transportation Services are working together to host the Complete Streets Photo Contest, encouraging residents to share inspiring photos, and to show the City what makes streets great for people, as places, and for prosperity.
Complete streets are designed to consider all users and uses. Submit your photos to answer, “What makes a street feel more complete?” Winning photos will be displayed at City Hall, in Spacing Magazine, and used to inspire future street designs.
Prizes include: Your own vanity City of Toronto street sign; Gift certificates for Spacing Store; and Subscriptions to Spacing magazine.
The contest is starting to gain traction with now over 95 submissions. We are accepting submissions up to October 31, and invite Facebook users to vote for their favourites during this submission period. In November, we will also have public voting via an online survey on a short list of photos selected by guest judges. See full details on the contest web page
